Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, wordpress based blogs are obvious and easy choice for me, as we all know that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the wordpress the most famous and versatile blogging software of all time.

After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because subsequently I can use my own blogs to promote my other websites, of course this is not a new idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.

Its quite difficult to manage more than a few blogs manually, if you’re not using your blogs as spamming device, to write real stuff for your blogs will be time consuming, you have to put in time and money to build a successful blog. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, let’s examine this one, Luggage Straps, the domain name is pretty good, the content on the site is not bad, without a clear theme, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. One more example, Lift Sling Manufacturer, this blog has a theme, all posts are following the same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. Its easy to show more similar sites, but you should already see the point. Here is one last note, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, do some casual postings randomly, just like this blog, car dealers, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.

When you already have a few interesting blogs, you can try to build a few more, use the old ones to promote the new ones, get your own little blog network going is not that too difficult. It sounds pretty simple, but it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, do remember don’t do any black hat tricks for your sites, if you get black listed there is no come back.
